Visiting guest speaker Roy Carr

As part of the Landscape Photography Module, one of our visiting guest speakers, Roy Carr, gave a seminar which discussed the ideas and themes behind his landscape work and the technical details involved in the creation of his work such as: materials, techniques and processes used. With over a decade of experience, Roy has produced an engaging portfolio of landscape work, travelling all over the UK and Europe. This was an early visit scheduled to inform student practice, before they attempted some of their own landscape photography work.

Roy isn't just talented in the area of landscape photography and has recently taken on a long term documentary photography project on sheep farming in South Wales.
