Mike Perry Exhibition at Ffotogallery
This Friday night, a few of us attended the Mike Perry Exhibition at Ffotogallery, Turner House, Penarth with the launch of Ffotogallery's 40:40 Vision (celebrating 40 years in 2018).
Mike Perry's Land/Sea (Tir/Môr), is a series of work in which the artist collects and forensically photographs plastic objects such as bottles, shoes and packaging washed up on the beaches of West Wales.
This photography exhibition highlights significant and pressing environmental issues, in particular the effects of human activity on the planet’s fragile ecosystems (be that land or marine).
The Exhibition runs from the 28th October to the 9th December.
