Brilliant day learning about the history of photography at Lacock Abbey as part of the Critical Practices: Histories Module. Home to where the earliest surviving photographic negative was created in 1835, by William Henry Fox Talbot, taken of a small window in the abbey’s South Gallery. Lots of laughter and learning and we even explored some Harry Potter filming locations.
